Originally a hit for Frank Sinatra in 1967, pop crooner Matt Forbes boldly reimagines "The World We Knew (Over and Over)" as his latest single. Featuring a sweeping new orchestral arrangement from Callum Au (Josh Groban, RAYE), the track evokes the brassy cinematic sounds of John Barry and Henry Mancini while anchoring the recording with a bluesy, hard-driving, modern rhythm section. Co-produced with GRAMMY® winner Justin Moshkevich at the historic EastWest Studios in Hollywood, the single also features a solo turn from GRAMMY® award-winning guitarist, Andrew Synowiec.

Heralded by GRAMMY® winner Steve Tyrell as “an important new messenger for the Great American Songbook”, Matt Forbes is at the forefront of a new generation of artists reimagining ‘traditional pop’ with a bold new approach and world-class musicianship.  Heard daily on SiriusXM's ‘Siriusly Sinatra’ and hundreds of radio stations worldwide, Forbes has earned widespread acclaim (Los Angeles Times, HuffPost) for breathing new life into timeless repertoire through an approach that both honors the past while pushing the genre forward in new, unexpected directions. His following across social media is a testament to how this music is resonating with a whole new generation. He has opened for Seth MacFarlane and contributed to Willie Nelson’s GRAMMY® award-winning Sinatra tribute album, ‘My Way’ and its GRAMMY® nominated follow-up ‘That’s Life’.

Recently, Matt was chosen by Tina Sinatra to be the signature “voice” of SiriusXM's newest standards channel, ‘The Chairman's Lounge’.

Over the past fifteen years, Callum Au has established himself as one of the busiest arrangers in the world. He has had the privilege of writing music for many international artists including Josh Groban, Quincy Jones, Jamie Cullum and RAYE, and ensembles including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the WDR Funkhaus Orchestra, and the Danish Radio Big Band. In 2021 he arranged two songs for Michael Bublé’s Grammy winning album ‘Higher’. More recently, he contributed four arrangements to Dua Lipa’s ‘Live from the Royal Albert Hall’ and wrote the vast majority of the critically acclaimed 2024 BBC Concert Orchestra Disco Prom. In 2026, Callum contributed several arrangements (including “Skyfall”) to Josh Groban’s new album “Cinematic”.
