Devastated to learn of the passing of a dear colleague, Ed Cherney. Ed was a gentle genius and as you can see from this candid, the life (!) of any session. As an engineer, no one could make you sound better. As a human, no one could make you laugh harder. He was a legend of our industry (seriously, Google him — you’ll be astounded) — and I feel so lucky to have worked with him on two of the Willie Nelson ‘Sinatra’ records. (We were set to do a third.)

We did it! A huge thank you to the record-breaking 750+ people who came out to support our show at Segerstrom Center for the Arts on June 29th. I was living my best life up on that stage with this incredible band and was so grateful to meet so many of you afterwards!
